The Wisdom of the Editorial Crowd

The current (or as of a couple of minutes ago*) opening on the entry for 'Atonement' on Wikipedia:
"The atonement is a superstition found solely within Christianity and Judaism and considered a cornerstone of the destructive anti-life nature of monotheistic military imperialism."
(The subsequent article, incidentally, only discusses Christian views of Atonement [there being a separate article on atonement in Judaism]-- and does so, from my perspective of near total ignorance, perfectly decently, if not always gramatically.) No more is said about monotheistic imperialism, or how atonement fits into it.
(I should add that I'm a big user of wikipedia, and think that it's a great resource, however unreliable in places it may be.)
*Now edited to be suitably impartial.

Hi all,
I came across your blog because of my personal interest in the history of political thought. I do not have a comment on this particular entry, but I was wondering if I could get some advice from one or several of you as you seem to have lengthy expertise on the subject. I am finishing my MA in political science in Denmark and I am considering doing an MPhil/PhD in the UK (or elsewhere) in the history of political thought. Where would you say is the best place to study, when "best" means a place with strong intellectual freedom, world-class research, many researchers in the field (a strong department), if possible famous ones, and a very good supervision of the doctoral candidate. I found three centres in the UK: Cambridge obviously, Durham University, and a joined programme of several colleges of the University of London (Queen Mary, Birkbeck, LSE, UCL, Royal Holloway, and King's College). Is there any other place you know of? Which one do you think is the best and why?
I thank you very much in advance if you answer to my questions.
Good philosophical readings to you all.
Sincerely,
Frank.

On the eve of polls, parties have started a digital media war. With the Election Commission approving 40 short videos, the ruling AIADMK has hit out at the DMK for its failures and misdeeds. The videos also list out the achievement of the AIADMK governments headed by J Jayalalithaa in the past and Edappadi K Palaniswami now.
